A good story must be well-organized and clear to the reader/listener.
Ask yourself: "What is this story about?"
Basic journalistic structures:
1. Inverted Pyramid - The most important information appears at beginning , which leads the story. As you progress down the triangle, it becomes progressively less important.
2. Chronological - Tells what happened in the order it happened.
3. Narrative - Uses vivid descriptions to set scenes; involves the reader with the writing as though a novel/short story.
4. Thematic - Addresses various aspects of a complex story, individually, layering and division of information
